Beyond the classroom

Alongside my degree, I spent six years in customer-facing and shift-lead roles in busy restaurants and hotels. Teaching and hospitality ask for a lot of the same things: reading a room quickly, staying calm when everything happens at once, communicating clearly, and treating every person in front of you with patience and respect. I bring all of that with me.
